CENTURYLON AP-702 Insulation Sheet |

CENTURYLON AP-702 Insulation Sheet is a flexible Closed Cell insulation sheet . It is available in 36" x 48" standard sheet size 1/8" to 1" max thickness. It is particularly adaptable to insulating large pipes, ducts, thanks and vessels.
 Application to large pipes 
Apply CENTURYLON AP-702 insulation Sheet on pipes larger than 5" IPS. Cut the sheet in proper size, allowing it to fit around the pipe in a relaxed state. Brush a thin, even coat of adhesive on the surfaces of both edges. After drying, warp the sheet around the pipe and join firmly together by pressure.

Application to metal ducts surfaces
Brush ( or roll ) a coating of adhesive on both surfaces of metal duct and CENTURYLON AP-702 insulation Sheet , leaving a 1/2" wide uncoated border of insulation sheet. After drying, place the sheet so that it overlaps the edges of previously installed sheet by 1/8". Spot-adhere it in the center and compress the butt edges into place. Then bond the remainder of the sheet by pressing. Spread the joint, and with a small brush apply adhesive to both butt edges, and compress the joint.

Application to fittings
By the use of templates, fitting covers are easily made for screw fittings 2", 2-1/2", and 3" long-radius weld fittings from 3" to 10" IPS. Apply adhesive to the inner arc joint, the pipe-section butt surface and the fitting cover butt surface. After drying, bonding together. |
